• Soie Perlee is a twisted 3-ply filament silk
• Soie Perlee expands to fill the area when used with light tension, unlike pearl cotton
• Very durable for canvas work, compared to pearl cotton threads which lose their sheen quickly
• Can be used for cross stitch on linen
• Makes for beautiful cording and tassels for needlework finishing
• Can be doubled for 18 count canvas tent stitch
