Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. This elegant collection gathers the classic colors of a wedding day: soft cream, pure white, timeless black, and a touch of blue for luck.
Use it to stitch names and dates on a wedding sampler, add delicate monograms to a handkerchief or ring pillow, or sew a hidden "something blue" into the hem of a gown. Soie Surfine's crisp definition makes lettering especially beautiful on fine linen, and its fine weight slips easily through delicate fabrics.
A thoughtful gift for a bride, a stitcher, or anyone making something to remember the day.

- Use for fine hand sewing, appliqué, cross stitch, and machine or hand sewing
- Cross stitchers use it on finer count linens — it gives crisp definition so you can see every stitch, without railroading the thread into the linen, giving it a light, delicate appearance
- It is recommended to use for text stitching in counted thread work as it gives the lettering more crisp definition
- If you are sewing something fine, this is your thread
- A favorite for fine hand embroidery and counted thread work
- Does not add bulk to seams — silk thread compresses when ironed, unlike cotton — a critical issue when working with fine points in piecing and machine appliqué
- For hand appliqué, Sharon prefers this thread as it is easy to use and disappears into the fabric
